Are you and your cat growing dreary of the cold and dark winter? Do you both need a little DIY project to get your spirits up again? There’s no better way to brighten up your space with a few extra plants, and your cat will delight in the new catnip gifts you can make.
The first thing is to get yourself some catnip seeds. You can order online or find them at your local pet store. Then, just follow the simple directions and enjoy! This plant is easily grown, and you can even share clippings with friends for them to start their own pots.
One thing that this instructional doesn’t mention is that catnip is in the mint family, and therefore very invasive. Stick with the single pots as instructed, otherwise you’ll be seeing this plant sprout up everywhere in your garden (not to mention the fact that your cat will be going bonkers to get into your garden).
