Herbs can be a very valuable source of nutrition for us all. I mean, they are plants and all plants contain nutrients as well as medicinal constituents. Today I want to share a bit about how you can use herbs to get some of these necessary vitamins and minerals into your children….

What You Will Need:

  • nettles
  • hibiscus
  • hot water
  • lemon juice (Optional – leave this out for babies as the acid can be irritating for sensitive digestion)
  • raw honey (This is optional for using for those bigger kids that might need a little sweet to make it more palatable. Leave this out for the babies and toddlers to work at developing their palate for tea without honey.
