Make Your Own Marshmallow Fondant

Homemade fondant is quick and easy to make, cheap and totally delicious. So why are we still buying so much of the branded product? Marshmallow fondant is an easy fondant made of marshmallows, water, and powdered sugar. It’s simple to make, and many prefer the taste over regular fondant, since it tastes like very sweet marshmallows.
You will need:
- Mini marshmallows
- Powdered/icing sugar
- Vegetable shortening
- Water
- 2 large bowls (1 microwave-safe)
- Food coloring – powder, gel or paste is a better option than liquid
- Wooden spoon
- Cling wrap
