Decorative circular mirrors can make a real statement, but often come with a price to match. However, there are a number of DIY projects out there that can be done on a very small budget using unexpected objects. Ever thought of using plastic spoons?

What You Will Need:

  • 4 packages of 48 dollar store spoons (the cheaper the better)
  • One piece of heavy cardboard cut in a 16″ diameter circle
  • One 5″ diameter round mirror (Dollar Store)
  • Lots of hot glue sticks and a hot glue gun
  • Spray primer
  • Acrylic paint 

When I look at this work I like the colors, and the simple technique to make this Ombre effect, also the surface made by layered spoons. It will be a good idea to use it with other projects.
