DIY: Building an Ice Skating Rink

If you’ve got the open space in a large backyard, freezing cold temperatures, and a love for ice skating, you could make you own ice rink!! You could buy yourself some ready-made kits for building a backyard skating rink, but they can be way pricey. All you really need is some lumber for bracing, plywood for boards, and a tarp or liner (white not blue). In less than a half day of work you could be skating in your very own rink!— plus, if you plan correctly, you can reuse your materials each winter!
