Sometimes I make things I want but can’t afford, things I need but can’t find, or in this case, something I can afford and ive found but that happens to be sold out boohoo! I wanted to get one these interesting wall planters for the front of my house but they were sold out. The lack of ready-made wall planters sent me searching for a DIY way to get those green leafy guys up on the wall but also show the number of our house! So I found this awesome number wall planter over at shanty-2-chic.com. Here is the supply list:

  • 1 – 5.5″ cedar fence picket (mine is 3/4″ thick… if you use 5/8″ be sure to adjust your pocket holes)
  • 1 x 4 x 8 cedar board – you will have scrap, but that’s the shortest you can buy at Home Depot
  • Metal Address Numbers
  • plants – I used succulents from Home Depot

With the plants included, the entire project cost under $25. Click the link below and follow this tutorial now…..
