This check list will give you some of the best tips, but here are some more – Over ripening is a September hazard, so check fruits and vegetables regularly. Be sure to harvest them if they look, feel and/or taste ripe and ready! Again it’s time to pick your  pears, apples, plums etc NOW. Get those weeds out while you can, make sure you are catching the root before they have chance to flower!! Depending on where you live you can set out seedlings of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, and spinach. Plant seeds of beets, carrots, leeks, onions, peas, radishes, and turnips.
