When the flowers blossom, summer is said to have arrived, and when the berries are ripe, summer is drawing to a close. Elderberries are made into syrup, cooked in puddings and jams, and turned into liquor. What are the benefits of elderberries? They fight your cold symptoms. Elderberry syrup makes colds and other upper respiratory symptoms more tolerable by reducing mucous secretions. Also, elderberries may fight swelling of the respiratory passages, which means less discomfort and trouble breathing and soothe a cough.

So how can you grow your own? Basically, propagating is taking a cutting, and planting it to make a new plant. I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m totally going on what I’ve read, but hopefully it’ll work!
