Now this is my kind of craft. Quick, inexpensive and totally girly! I was never really girly in high school, but now in my early 30’s I am going through the glitter phase! These glitter tin candles would make awesome gifts!!!

SUPPLIES:

  • 6oz metal tins in silver or gold
  • 1lb soy wax flakes (makes 4 candles)
  • Glitter in your choice of colors
  • wicks
  • Glue Dots or wick sticky tabs
  • sticks for holding your wicks
  • pouring pot
  • old spoon (that is only used for crafting!)
  • 2.5″ round labels
  • scent oil is optional
  • **the heat embossing gun is only for mistakes

Tea tins are ideal for making these simple but effective container candles. However, you can also use olive oil jugs, sardine cans, or any other tin imaginable (even a mason jar!) to make beautiful and colorful displays! Click the link below to see how it’s done!
