Kids love mixing, slurping, squishing, and smelling. They love creating, building, and learning new things with their hands. You love playing with your kids and helping them grow. This wonderful recipe for jello play dough has all the bases covered.

Take your average play dough-making ingredients (white flour, warm water, and salt), subtract the tacky food coloring, add a little jello and cream of tar tar, and you’ll have some delicious smelling and super-fun play dough on your hands. Admittedly, this process is a little more intense than your average play dough and it requires a bit more cleaning, you can have your little one mixing, smoothing, and doing other things to help you out during the process.

Just follow the simple directions. All steps are accompanied by pictures which will not only help to clarify the instructions, but will serve as your inspiration — the colors are really beautiful! Spend the afternoon making the dough and building together with your child or children, and then you can store in the fridge for up to two weeks for extra use!
